Boise Police are investigating vandalism at the Parkcenter Bridge following incidents on August 6 and 7, 2025. Suspects damaged two large metal fence panels, leading to an estimated repair cost of $15,000 to $20,000. Officers discovered that one of the panels had been previously repaired on August 7, just before the second vandalism occurred. No injuries were reported as a result of the damage. Ada County Highway District crews have installed a temporary barrier while they assess the long-term repairs needed. The Boise Fire Dive Team also responded to fallen railing in the river caused by the property damage, determining that it does not currently pose a risk to floaters.
